Installation Procedure

  1. Install the DIC switches to the IP cluster trim panel. Refer to DRIVER INFORMATION CENTER SWITCH REPLACEMENT   . 
  2. Engage the lower edge of the IP cluster trim plate (3) to the IP.
  3. Connect the two electrical connectors (1, 2) to the DIC switches.

    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE  in Cautions and Notices.
  4. Install the two screws from the trim panel to the IP retainer.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the screws to 2 N.m (18 lb in).

  5. Install the screw securing the IP cluster bezel to the passenger trim panel.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the screw to 2 N.m (18 lb in).

  6. Install the Upper Trim Pad TRIM PAD REPLACEMENT - INSTRUMENT PANEL (I/P) UPPER   .
