Change Engine Oil

The instrument panel cluster (IPC) illuminates the CHANGE ENGINE OIL - 82 message in the driver information center (DIC) when the powertrain control module (PCM) determines that the engine oil life is 0 percent. The IPC receives a class 2 message from the PCM requesting illumination. After the oil is changed, reset the engine oil monitor.
