Installation Procedure

  1. Install the console latch to the console tray, if equipped with UV8.
    NOTE: Refer to in Cautions and Notices.
  2. Install the screws that retain the console lid latch to the console tray.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the screw that retains the front door trim plate to 2 N.m (18 lb in)

  3. Install the console tray insert (1) to the console tray (2).

  4. Install the 4 screws (1) that retain the console insert tray to the console tray (2).

    Tighten 

    Tighten the screw that retains the front door trim plate to 2 N.m (18 lb in)

  5. Check for proper operation of the console door latch, adjust the console lid latch if necessary.
