Removal Procedure

CAUTION: Refer to SIR CAUTION
  1. Remove the left sound insulator. Refer to CLOSEOUT/INSULATOR PANEL REPLACEMENT - LEFT  .
  2. Remove the knee bolster trim panel. Refer to KNEE BOLSTER REPLACEMENT - LEFT (WITHOUT UV2)  or KNEE BOLSTER REPLACEMENT - LEFT (UV2)  .
  3. Remove the 4 fasteners (1) securing the knee bolster bracket to the IP lower.
  4. Remove the knee bolster bracket (2).
