Installation Procedure

Install the IP retainer onto the IP carrier.
Install the upper IP retainer screws.

NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.
Install the screws securing the retainer to the IP carrier.
Tighten

Tighten the fasteners to 9 N.m (80 lb in).

Install the screws behind the IP compartment securing the IP retainer to the IP carrier.
Tighten

Tighten the screws to 9 N.m (80 lb in).

Install the screws securing the lower center stack.
Tighten

Tighten the screws to 9 N.m (80 lb in).
Install the fasteners securing the side of the retainer the center support.
Tighten

Tighten the fasteners to 9 N.m (80 lb in).

Install the bolts securing the lower retainer support bracket.
Tighten

Tighten the fasteners to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).

Raise the steering column. Refer to STEERING COLUMN REPLACEMENT in Steering Wheel and Column.
Install the left and right IP closeout panel. Refer to CLOSEOUT/INSULATOR PANEL REPLACEMENT - RIGHT and CLOSEOUT/INSULATOR PANEL REPLACEMENT - LEFT .
Install the defroster grille. Refer to DEFROSTER GRILLE REPLACEMENT .
Install the IP cluster. Refer to INSTRUMENT PANEL CLUSTER (IPC) REPLACEMENT .
Install the IP compartment assembly. Refer to COMPARTMENT REPLACEMENT - INSTRUMENT PANEL (I/P) .
Install the radio assembly. Refer to RADIO REPLACEMENT in Entertainment.
Install the upper A/C vents.
Install the center console. Refer to CONSOLE REPLACEMENT - FRONT FLOOR .
