Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the cigar lighter fuse.
  2. Remove the cigar lighter element.
  3. Remove the cigar lighter socket by placing one side of the T portion of the tool J 42059  into the tab window and then the other should be angled into the opposite tab window, then pull the lighter socket straight out.
  4. Remove the tool from the lighter socket.

  5. Pull the cigar lighter socket (3) and cigar lighter retainer (2) out of the ash tray.
  6. Disconnect the electrical connector (1) from the cigar lighter (3).
  7. Remove the cigar lighter retainer (2) from the cigar lighter socket (3).
