Installation Procedure

  1. Install the knee bolster trim (1).
    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.
  2. Install the retaining screws (2).

    Tighten 

    Tighten the fasteners to 2 N.m (18 lb in).

  3. Install the hood release lever.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the fasteners to 2 N.m (18 lb in).

  4. Install the parking brake release lever to the cable (1).
  5. Install the lever retainers screws.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the fasteners to 2 N.m (18 lb in).

  6. Install the left hand closeout panel. Refer to CLOSEOUT/INSULATOR PANEL REPLACEMENT - LEFT  .
