Installation Procedure

  1. Align the trim panel with the IP retainer.
  2. Push forward on the trim plate in order to engage the three retainers, while aligning the A/C housing with the A/C ducts.
    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE .
  3. Install the screws to the accessory trim panel.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the screws to 2 N.m (18 lb in).

  4. Install the screws through the straps to the carrier.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the screws to 2 N.m (18 lb in).

  5. Install the IP cluster trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Instrument Panel (I/P) Cluster 
  6. Install the PSIR module. Refer to REMOVAL & INSTALLATION (PASSENGER-SIDE)
  7. Install the IP upper trim pad. Refer to Trim Pad Replacement - Instrument Panel (I/P) Upper 
  8. Enable the SIR. Refer to ACTIVATING SYSTEM .
