Removal Procedure

  1. Open the lighter compartment at the rear of the center console.
  2. With the lighter compartment door open, push the lighter compartment door down until the upper end of the lighter compartment door is released from the center console.
  3. Disconnect the electrical connector from the lighter.
  4. Remove the lighter compartment and lighter assembly from the center console.

  5. Unscrew the outer housing (2) from the lighter element (1).
  6. Remove the lighter assembly (1,2) from the lighter compartment door (3).
