Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the rear seat. Refer to SEAT REPLACEMENT - REAR (60/40 SPLIT) or SEAT REPLACEMENT - REAR (50/50 SPLIT 2ND REAR) .
  2. Remove the garnish molding. Refer to Garnish Molding Replacement - Rear Corner  .
  3. Remove the trim panel. Refer to Trim Replacement - Third Pillar (Tahoe/Yukon/Escalade/Suburban)  or Trim Replacement - Third Pillar (Avalanche/Escalade EXT)  .
  4. Remove the door sill plate. Refer to Door Sill Plate Replacement - Front  or to Door Sill Plate Replacement - Rear  .

  5. Remove the quarter panel trim screws.
  6. Remove the quarter panel trim from the vehicle.
