Removal Procedure
CAUTION:
Refer to SIR CAUTION
.
- Disable the SIR system. Refer to DISABLING & ACTIVATING AIR BAG SYSTEM .
- Open the instrument panel storage compartment door.
- Remove the fasteners (2, 7) that retain the instrument panel storage compartment assembly (8) to the instrument panel.
- Remove the 2 fasteners from inside the instrument panel storage compartment.
- Partially remove the instrument panel storage compartment assembly (8).
- Disconnect the electrical connectors.
- Remove the instrument panel storage compartment.
- Remove the switches from the instrument panel storage compartment, if necessary. Refer to the following procedures:

- Valet Switch Replacement
- TRACTION CONTROL SWITCH REPLACEMENT
