Service Electrical System

The IPC illuminates the SERVICE ELECTRICAL SYS - 106 message in the DIC when the one of following exist:

• The dash integration module (DIM) detects a malfunction that is related to the ignition switch. The IPC receives a class 2 message requesting illumination from the DIM.
• When there is a PCM related code present. The IPC receives a class 2 message requesting illumination from the PCM.
