Park Brake Release Solenoid: Removal

  1. Remove the left closeout/insulator. Remove the left knee bolster. Remove the left carpet retainer.
  2. Remove the park brake pedal assembly nuts. Position the park brake pedal assembly away from the mounting studs. Disconnect the electrical connectors from the park brake lever.
  3. Remove park brake automatic release solenoid bolt. Remove the park brake automatic release solenoid.
