Removal (Right Rear Cable)

  1. Raise the vehicle and suitably support. Remove the rear tire and wheel assembly.
  2. Pull down on the intermediate park brake cable near the park brake cable connector. Disconnect the intermediate park brake cable from the park brake connector.
  3. Disconnect the right rear park brake cable from the intermediate park brake cable connector. Using Park Brake Cable Release Tool (J-37043) depress the right brake cable locking tabs. Remove the right park brake cable from the park brake cable support bracket.
  4. Using the cable release tool, depress the right park brake cable locking tabs. Remove the right park brake cable from the caliper park brake cable bracket. Disconnect the right park brake cable from the park brake actuator lever. Remove the right park brake cable from the vehicle.
