Removal (Left rear Cable)
- Raise the vehicle and suitably support. Remove the left rear tire and wheel assembly. Pull down on the intermediate park brake cable near the park brake connector. Disconnect the intermediate park brake cable from the park brake cable connector.
- Disconnect the left rear park brake cable from the equalizer. Disconnect the left park brake cable from the park brake lever. Using Park Brake Cable Release Tool (J-37043) depress the locking tabs on the left park brake cable. Remove the left park brake cable from the caliper park brake cable bracket.
- Using the cable release tool, depress the locking tabs on the left park brake cable. Remove the left park brake cable from the rear support mounting bracket.
