Removal (Intermediate Cable)

  1. Raise the vehicle and support. Pull down on the intermediate park brake cable near the park brake cable connector. Remove the intermediate park brake cable from the park brake cable connector.
  2. Disconnect the intermediate park brake cable from the rear equalizer. Disconnect the intermediate park brake cable from the right rear park brake cable.
  3. Using Parking Brake Cable Release Tool (J-37043) disconnect the intermediate park brake cable housing from the rear park brake cable housing connector. Remove the intermediate park brake cable.
