Park Brake Actuator: Installation

  1. Install the actuator lever to the backing plate. Install the park brake shoe. See PARK BRAKE SHOE  . Adjust the park brake shoe. Install the rotor. See REAR BRAKE ROTOR  . Install the rear park brake cable to the park brake actuator lever.
  2. Connect the left rear park brake cable to the rear equalizer. Connect the right rear park brake cable to the intermediate park brake cable.
  3. Install the tire and wheel assembly. Remove the safety stands. Lower vehicle.
