Removal Procedure

CAUTION: Refer to SIR CAUTION .
  1. Remove the auxiliary HVAC control from the center console. Refer to HVAC CONTROL MODULE -- AUXILIARY .
  2. Remove the upper screws (1).
  3. Remove the lower screws (2).
  4. Remove the center console rear cover (3).

  5. Open the console compartment door.
  6. Use a flat bladed tool in order to remove the inner auxiliary HVAC outlet (2).
  7. Remove the cellular telephone, if equipped with UV8. Refer to CELLULAR TELEPHONE DOCKING STATION REPLACEMENT (DTS) or CELLULAR TELEPHONE DOCKING STATION REPLACEMENT (DEVILLE AND DHS) .
  8. Remove the screws (1) from the console door hinge.
  9. Remove the console door and hinge assembly from the center console.
