Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the auxiliary HVAC control from the center console. Refer to HVAC CONTROL MODULE -- AUXILIARY .
  2. Remove the screws (1, 2) from the rear cover (3).
  3. Remove the center console rear cover (3).

  4. Open the console compartment door.
  5. Use a flat bladed tool in order to remove the inner auxiliary HVAC outlet (2).
  6. Remove the cellular telephone docking station, if equipped with UV8. Refer to CELLULAR TELEPHONE DOCKING STATION REPLACEMENT (DTS) or CELLULAR TELEPHONE DOCKING STATION REPLACEMENT (DEVILLE AND DHS) .
  7. Remove the screws (1) from the console door hinge.
  8. Remove the console door and hinge assembly.

  9. Remove the screws (1).
  10. Remove the console tray (2).

  11. Remove the screws (1).
  12. Remove the armrest inner trim panel (2).

  13. Remove the door hinge screws (1).
  14. Remove the console door hinge (2).
