Installation Procedure
- Install the Inside air temperature sensor to the IP retainer (1). Refer to REMOVAL & INSTALLATION (INSIDE ASSEMBLY) .
- Partially install the IP retainer (1) to the IP carrier (2) and guide the wiring through the IP retainer openings.
- Connect the inside air temperature sensor electrical connector.
- Install the IP retainer fasteners.
- Install the fasteners (1) to each end of the IP retainer.
- Install the headlamp switch. Refer to HEADLAMP SWITCH REPLACEMENT .
- Install the drivers knee bolster bracket. Refer to Knee Bolster Bracket Replacement - Left .
- Install the radio or the navigation display module. Refer to RADIO REPLACEMENT (U1R, UM5, UM9) or RADIO REPLACEMENT (U3Q, U3R, U3S) .
- Install the HVAC control module. Refer to HVAC CONTROL MODULE .
- Install the IP cluster. Refer to Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) Replacement .
- Install the IP storage compartment. Refer to Storage Compartment Replacement - IP .
- Install the right IP accessory trim plate. Refer to Trim Plate Replacement - IP Accessory Right .
- Install the left IP outer trim cover. Refer to Instrument Panel (IP) Outer Trim Cover Replacement - Left .
- Install the right IP outer trim cover. Refer to Instrument Panel (IP) Outer Trim Cover Replacement - Right .
- Install the IP center storage compartment or the floor console. Refer to Compartment Replacement - IP (Base and DHS) or Compartment Replacement - IP (DTS) or Console Replacement - Front Floor (DTS, w/o UV8) or Console Replacement - Front Floor (DTS with UV8) .
- Connect the negative battery cable. Refer to BATTERY NEGATIVE CABLE DISCONNECT/CONNECT PROCEDURE .
- Enable the SIR. Refer to ACTIVATING SYSTEM .
