Installation Procedure

Align the center console hinge (2) to the armrest.
NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE .
Install the screws (1).
Tighten

Tighten the screws to 1.6 N.m (14 lb in).

Install the armrest inner trim panel (2).
Install the screws (1).
Tighten

Tighten the screws to 1.6 N.m (14 lb in).

If equipped with UV8, Install the Cellular phone docking station. Refer to CELLULAR TELEPHONE DOCKING STATION REPLACEMENT (DTS) or CELLULAR TELEPHONE DOCKING STATION REPLACEMENT (DEVILLE AND DHS) .
Install the console tray (2).
Install the console tray screws (1)
Tighten

Tighten the screws to 1.6 N.m (14 lb in).

The center console door has alignment pins next to the top 2 hinge screws. Align the console lid and hinge assembly to the center console.
Install the console hinge screws (1).
Tighten

Tighten the screws to 1.6 N.m (14 lb in).
Install the inner auxiliary HVAC outlet (2).

Close the console compartment door.
Install the center console rear cover (3).
Install the console rear cover screws (1, 2).
Tighten

Tighten the screws to 1.6 N.m (14 lb in).
Install the auxiliary HVAC control. Refer to HVAC CONTROL MODULE -- AUXILIARY .
Ensure proper operation of the console door.
