Installation Procedure

  1. Slide the closeout insulator panel (2) over the top of the emergency brake bracket (1).

  2. Set the forward edge of the closeout insulator panel (2) on the shelf above the carpeting.
  3. Align the closeout insulator panel (2) with the fastener holes.
  4. Install the push pin type retainers in order to hold the insulator panel in position.
    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE .
  5. Install the threaded fasteners (1) to the lower insulator panel.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the fasteners (1) to 2 N.m (18 lb in).
