Diagnostic Aids

Inspect class 2 serial data circuit for an open between appropriate sensor and Remote Control Door Lock Receiver (RCDLR). Driver's Information Center (DIC) will display dashes for all tire pressures and SERVICE TIRE MONITOR warning message. Clear DTCs before road testing vehicle, whenever a tire pressure monitor sensor has been replaced, to avoid reading an original DTC. Take tire pressure measurements when tires are cold to obtain lowest reading. Occasionally tire pressure monitor sensor transmission will not be received by RCDLR due to vehicle level radio frequency interference.
