DTC C0750, C0755, C0760 Or C0765: Tire Pressure Monitoring Sensor Failure: Description

Tire pressure monitor sensors transmit a unique identification code and radio frequency signal to Remote Control Door Lock Receiver (RCDLR) when vehicle speed is above 20 MPH, or sensors are in power up mode. This data is received and translated by RCDLR into tire location and tire pressure. RCDLR waits for first sensor 8 times. RCDLR then checks whether all sensors have transmitted their information. If one or more of tire pressure monitor sensors do not transmit their information, RCDLR will store appropriate DTC for sensor that did not transmit. When DTC is stored, Driver's Information Center (DIC) displays SERVICE TIRE MONITOR message. A current DTC will clear when malfunction no longer exists. A history DTC will clear after 100 consecutive malfunction free ignition cycles.
