Vehicle Information Display
Vehicle information display parameters are available to driver during a RUN power mode. Driver navigates through various parameters displayed on Driver's Information Center (DIC) using INFO up and down buttons. Some parameters can be reset using INFO RESET button. Some parameters require information from other modules through class 2 serial data messages. If Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) has not received data for a parameter when time has come to display parameter, IPC will blank data on DIC. If IPC has determined that a class 2 communication failure with a module exists when time has come to display parameter, IPC will display dashes on DIC. Vehicle information display parameters are displayed in this order:
- Outside air temperature.
- Fuel range.
- Average fuel economy.
- Instantaneous fuel economy.
- Fuel used.
- Average vehicle speed.
- Timer.
- Battery voltage.
- Tire pressure monitor.
- Engine oil life.
- Transmission fluid life.
- Cellular telephone.
- Feature programming.
- Blank display.
