Outside Air Temperature

Outside air temperature parameter is supplied by Instrument Panel Module (IPM) to Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) through class 2 serial data messages. Outside air temperature parameter cannot be reset by driver. Outside air temperature parameter is displayed on Driver's Information Center (DIC) in one of these following formats:

• XXX °F OUTSIDE TEMP
• XXX °C OUTSIDE TEMP

XXX represents supplied temperature value. Units of display will correspond to current instrument cluster setting.
