Test L: Cruise Control Switch Indicator Always On

  1. If cruise control diagnostic system check has been performed, go to next step. If cruise control diagnostic system check has not been performed, perform CRUISE CONTROL DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM CHECK  under SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM.
  2. Cycle ignition switch from OFF to RUN position. Observe CRUISE indicator during bulb check. If CRUISE indicator does not illuminate during bulb check, go to next step. If CRUISE indicator illuminates during bulb check, inspect for intermittents. See TROUBLE SHOOTING  .
  3. Replace Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC), then go to next step.
  4. Operate system to verify repair. If system is not operating correctly, repeat test beginning at step  2 .
