Traction Control

Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) illuminates TRACTION CONTROL indicator when this occurs:

• Electronic Brake Control Module (EBCM) detects a malfunction in traction control system. IPC receives a class 2 message from EBCM requesting illumination.
• IPC detects a loss of class 2 communications with EBCM.
• IPC performs a displays test at start of each ignition cycle. Indicator illuminates for approximately 3 seconds.
