Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) illuminates THEFT ATTEMPTED - 40 indicator in Driver's Information Center (DIC) when theft deterrent system has detected a theft attempt. IPC receives a class 2 message from Rear Integration Module (RIM) requesting illumination.
