Engine Overheated/Stop Engine (42)

Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) illuminates ENGINE OVERHEATED/STOP ENGINE - 42 indicator in Driver's Information Center (DIC) and sends a class 2 message to activate an audible warning when Powertrain Control Module (PCM) detects that engine temperature is above normal operating range. IPC receives a class 2 message from PCM requesting illumination.
