Anti-Lock Brake System Indicator

Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) illuminates Anti-Lock Brake System (ABS) indicator when this occurs:

• Electronic Brake Control Module (EBCM) detects a malfunction with ABS. IPC receives a class 2 message from EBCM requesting illuminate.
• IPC detects a loss of class 2 communications with EBCM and discrete back-up ABS indicator signal is open.
• IPC performs a displays test at start of each ignition cycle. Indicator illuminates for approximately 3 seconds.
