Instantaneous Fuel Economy

Instantaneous fuel economy is a function of distance divided by fuel used over a short period of time. Instantaneous fuel economy cannot be reset by driver. Instantaneous fuel economy parameter is displayed on Driver's Information Center (DIC) in one of these following formats:

XX represents calculated instantaneous fuel economy value. Units of display will correspond to current instrument cluster setting. DIC will display zero for English and Japan metric modes and 99 for normal metric mode after battery has been disconnected and then reconnected.
