Average Fuel Economy

Average fuel economy is a function of distance divided by fuel used since parameter was last reset. When average fuel economy is displayed on Driver's Information Center (DIC), pressing INFO RESET button on DIC will reset average fuel economy parameter. Average fuel economy parameter is displayed on DIC in one of these following formats:

• XX.X MPG AVG
• XX.X L/100km AVG
• XX.X km/L AVG (Japan metric)

XX.X represents calculated average fuel economy value. Units of display will correspond to current instrument cluster setting. DIC will display zeros for English and Japan metric modes and 99.9 for normal metric mode when parameter is reset.
