Lights On Warning

Radio activates lights on warning as requested by Dash Integration Module (DIM). DIM sends a class 2 message to radio indicating chime frequency (fast rate) and duration (continuous). Lights on warning sounds and LIGHTS ON indicator illuminates when this occurs:

• Ignition switch is turned to OFF position.
• Driver's Door Module (DDM) determines that driver's door is open (signal circuit is low). DIM receives a class 2 message from DDM indicating door ajar status.
• DIM determines that headlight switch is in park or head position.
