Removal & Installation (Driver's Side)

Remove driver's closeout/insulator panel. See CLOSEOUT/INSULATOR PANEL REPLACEMENT . Remove the driver's knee bolster trim panel. See KNEE BOLSTER . Remove the 4 screws securing the knee bolster bracket to the lower IP. See Fig 1. Remove the knee bolster bracket. To install, align the knee bolster bracket to lower the IP. Tighten screws to 80 INCH lbs. (9 N.m ).
