Glove Box Key Lock Cylinder: Removal

Insert the key into the door handle lock cylinder. Turn the key 1/4 turn clockwise (LOCK position). Insert a small diameter punch into the small rectangular opening on the right hand side of the glove box handle. See Figure. Depress and hold the lock cylinder retainer. Turn the key an additional 1/4 turn clockwise. Remove key and lock cylinder as an assembly. See Figure.
