Average Fuel Economy

The average fuel economy and range is displayed on fuel gauge on vehicles equipped with a digital cluster. The average fuel economy is a function of distance divided by fuel used since the parameter was last reset. On vehicles equipped with analog display, the average fuel economy parameter is only displayed on the Driver Information Center (DIC). The average fuel economy displays either miles or kilometers as requested by the activation of the ENG/MET button on the driver information center (DIC).
