Traction Control

The IPC illuminates the TRACTION CONTROL indicator when the electronic brake control module (EBCM) detects a malfunction in the traction control system, the IPC receives a class 2 message from the EBCM requesting illumination or the IPC detects a loss of class 2 communications with the EBCM. The IPC performs the displays test at the start of each ignition cycle. The indicator illuminates for approximately 3 seconds.
