Service Steering SYS - 127

The IPC illuminates the SERVICE STEERING SYS - 127 indicator in the DIC when the electronic brake control module (EBCM) detects certain malfunctions in the variable effort steering (VES) system. The IPC receives a class 2 message from the EBCM requesting illumination.
