Service Electrical SYS - 106

The IPC illuminates the SERVICE ELECTRICAL SYS - 106 indicator in the DIC when the powertrain control module (PCM) or the dash integration module (DIM) detects certain malfunctions in the vehicle electrical system. The IPC receives a class 2 message from the PCM or the DIM requesting illumination.
