Door Ajar - 140

The IPC illuminates the DRIVER DOOR AJAR - 140, PASSENGER DOOR AJAR - 141, LEFT REAR DOOR AJAR - 142 or RIGHT REAR DOOR AJAR - 143 indicator in the DIC when one of the vehicle doors is open and the transmission is out of Park. If the vehicle speed is greater than 3 MPH (4.8 KM/H), the IPC sends a class 2 message in order to activate an audible warning. The IPC receives a class 2 message from the driver door module (DDM) indicating the door status.
