Description & Operation (Indicator/Warning Messages): Cruise

The IPC illuminates the CRUISE indicator when the powertrain control module (PCM) detects that the cruise control is requested or the IPC receives a class 2 message from the PCM requesting illumination. The IPC performs the displays test at the start of each ignition cycle and the indicator illuminates for approximately 3 seconds.
