Odometer Inoperative - Trip

  1. If instrument cluster diagnostic system check has been performed, go to next step. If instrument cluster diagnostic system check has not been performed, go to INSTRUMENT CLUSTER DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM CHECK  under SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM.
  2. Check operation of speedometer and seasonal odometer. If speedometer and/or seasonal odometer operate properly, go to next step. If speedometer and/or seasonal odometer do not operate properly, go to SPEEDOMETER AND/OR ODOMETER INOPERATIVE  .
  3. Replace Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC). See INSTRUMENT PANEL CLUSTER  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. After repairs, go to next step.
  4. Recheck trip odometer operation. If trip odometer operates properly, repair is complete. If trip odometer does not operate properly, go to step  2 .
