Driver's Information Center

The Driver's Information Center (DIC) is used to display alpha-numeric information to driver and provide a method of displaying select vehicle information upon request and warning messages when necessary. See WARNING MESSAGES  . DIC also allows driver to manually program certain functions of vehicle systems. Programmable systems include keyless entry, power door locks, memory systems, power seats and power mirrors. The DIC is a one line, 22 character, vacuum fluorescent (VF) display. DIC is located at lower edge of Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC). Functions of DIC are controlled by 6 switches, 3 on each side of IPC.
