DTC C0563: Calibration ROM Checksum Error

  1. Perform diagnostic system check. See DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM CHECK  under DIAGNOSIS & TESTING. After performing diagnostic system check, go to next step.
  2. Install scan tool. Turn ignition switch on, with engine off. Calibrate control module. See CALIBRATING ESC/CVRSS CONTROL MODULE  under ADJUSTMENTS. Using scan tool, clear DTCs. Operate vehicle under normal driving conditions. If DTC resets, go to next step. If DTC does not reset, system is okay.
  3. Calibrate control module. See CALIBRATING ESC/CVRSS CONTROL MODULE  under ADJUSTMENTS. Using scan tool, clear DTCs. Operate vehicle under normal driving conditions. If DTC resets, go to next step. If DTC does not reset, system is okay.
  4. Turn ignition switch off. Replace control module. See ESC/CVRSS CONTROL MODULE  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Calibrate NEW control module. See CALIBRATING ESC/CVRSS CONTROL MODULE  under ADJUSTMENTS. If replacement is complete, go to next step.
  5. Using scan tool, clear DTCs. Operate vehicle under normal driving conditions. If DTC resets, go to step  2 . If DTC does not reset, system is okay.
