Diagnosis & Testing: Notes

Begin system diagnosis with the DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM CHECK which will provide:

• Identification of the control module(s) that commands the system.
• Ability of the control module(s) to communicate through the serial data circuit.
• Identification of any stored DTCs and their status.
