Self-Diagnostic System: Notes

NOTE: Platform Zone Module (PZM) is also referred to as Body Control Module (BCM).

Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) is equipped with a self-diagnostic system, which detects system failures or abnormalities. When a malfunction occurs, IPC will store a 5-digit alphanumeric Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC).

After IPC DTCs have been displayed, service mode can be used to clear DTCs and exit diagnostics or individually perform other tests on different systems. To exit diagnostic mode, press DEFOG or MODE button on CCP, or turn ignition off. DTCs will not be cleared. System will return to normal vehicle operation.
