Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes

To clear DTCs using scan tool, select Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) data on scan tool. Select DTC function for IPC. Select CLEAR CODES function. When prompted, select YES to clear codes.

To clear DTCs using on-board diagnostics, turn ignition on. Simultaneously press OFF and passenger warmer buttons on climate control panel (analog instrument panel). Press low (fan speed) button until IPC? appears. Press high (fan speed) button until IPC CODES? appears. Press low (fan speed) button until IPC CODES CLEAR appears. Press high (fan speed) button until all IPC CODES CLEAR appears. To exit clear codes mode, press rear defogger or MODE button on CCP, or turn ignition off. If mode is exited before DTCs are cleared, DTCs will not be cleared. System will return to normal vehicle operation.
