DTC B2511: Steering Wheel Controls Convenience Key Stuck: Description

Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) monitors steering wheel control keys input at IPC connector C2, terminal B11 (Dark Blue wire). See Figure . IPC interprets button commands, and sends appropriate message on class 2 serial data line. DTC B2511 will set when IPC determines that volume up, volume down, select up or select down is active for more than 5 seconds (stuck). When DTC is set, IPC will ignore switch command.
