DTC B1983: Device Power 1 Circuit Low: Description

When Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) is awake, IPC continuously checks for battery voltage at connector C1, terminals A1 (Orange wire) and B1 (Orange wire). DTC B1983 will set when voltage at IPC connector C1, terminals A1 and B1 is less than 9 volts for 1200 milliseconds. If DTC B1983 is a current code, no loss of class 2 serial data DTCs will be set.
